Abstract

The new rural zones need a new quality. A green grid means intersections of lines and nodes into the rural landscape through alleys, green playgrounds, community gardens, and contact with orchards, meadows, and streams create ecological and human conditions for quality new residential rural suburbs. Our research focuses on these current issues in the form of case studies of rural areas and an evaluation of their quality. In four case studies in Zahorska Bystrica near Bratislava, a comparative method of comparing and inserting a motive for the use of a green grid in a new residential zone was used. The motive for the implementation of greenery and the effect of the application of green fabrics were compared. It examines the level of user and ecological parameters available to these proposed residential zones in the locality of Zahorska Bystrica. The method of comparison and insertion of the motive for the use of a green grid in the new residential zone was used. The motive for the implementation of greenery, the consequences in the design, and the effect of the application of green fabrics were compared. The recommendations were summarized in the conclusion with the slogan green cities – a better life. The results prove the ambitions at international competitions. Competitions for the prestige of green rural zones and remuneration for municipalities, but also cooperation through participatory planning, are important.
