THE SOCIAL MORPHOLOGY OF THE GEOGRAPHICAL SPACE
Abstract
In the current understanding of the world, the issues of organization and management of multidimensional living space are of strategic importance. They are considered both from theoretical positions and from the point of view of sustainable development of the human community on Earth. Geographical science takes an active part in the development of these directions of the Strategy of Mankind, which is formed in the depths of natural Sciences and Humanities, first of all, it is necessary to point out that the persisting idea of man as an equivalent part of the biosphere leads the modern methodology to a conceptual impasse. Today, the influence of human activity has reached such proportions that it is time to shift the emphasis to the reverse side of the relationship between nature and society: the biosphere in a sense becomes a subsystem of planetary civilization. In other words, the world is going through a crucial stage of formation of the global phenomenon of geospatial sociologization. Consequently, the real subject of scientific knowledge of spatial reality, in the end, is the human world, because the world outside of man has no sense. The authors believe that modern geography should keep in the center of its attention the phenomenal pictures of geospace, which require a special method of qualitative description of objective reality in its unique social uniqueness.
