HISTORICAL ASPECTS IN NON-FICTION LITERATURE
Abstract
This article highlights the existence and importance of the historical aspect of Slovaks' national existence in Lowland, having specific regard to their first historical cultural and literary impulses in Nadlak. It stresses the self identifying and mediatory function of written word and its historical connection in the aspect of minority existence of (for the most part) their own development context. On the background of beneficial bibliographical attributes and theorems it mainly displays concrete interpretive analysis of original sources from Slovaks of contemporary Austria-Hungary and Romania, respectively. The individual findings are supported by due quotations from particular originals. Emphasis is also given to the attribute of a sort of originality, and pointing out the place/position of said minority in the historical political and cultural development of given regions. These are objectified in the interpreted works of factual genres and by that they declare the phenomenon stated in the title.
