A NEW PARADIGM IN ROMANIAN PHARMACEUTICAL MANAGEMENT
Abstract
The pharmaceutical field in Romania, although, at first glance, seems to be well-organized, in practice faces a number of problems, many of them being the consequence of a failure to apply a good management, but also of a sometimes confusing or contradictory legislation. The pharmacist, is responsible of a pharmacy, as manager, faced with a multitude of issues requiring immediate solution, which makes the spectrum of managerial activities more extensive and complex. There are often situations in which such a manager has to solve current problems to the detriment of others strictly related to the management of that pharmacy, its organization and operation so that the improvement of services to the population is negatively influenced.
