BUZZWORDS ON LOCAL POLICY? POLITICAL COMMUNICATION AND POLITICAL DISCOURSES OF NATIONAL POLITICS.
Abstract
Discourse plays an important role in political systems, especially during the electoral period and electoral campaigns. National politicians often used a wide range of themes that are related to any level of the political system, just to be elected once again. In such a competitive world, discourses and buzzwords play an important role in framing behaviour and relations. The themes of regionalization, good governance, autonomy, decentralization and reforms are very popular words of politicians at national level when it comes to their re-election, or holding onto power. The paper will focus mainly on the communication of national politicians, how they use these local and regional themes, how they promote their views and how exactly reality looks according to their activities. The results should reflect not only the political discourse of national politics, but also the reality; these two different worlds are often struggling together.
