STRUCTURAL-DYNAMIC CHARACTERISTICS OF FUNCTIONAL SUBSYSTEMS IN THE FORMING BILINGUAL MENTAL LEXICON
Abstract
The paper presents an experimental research of two functional subsystems which emerge in the process of bilingual lexicon formation: the mixed (L1+L2) subsystem and the monolingual L2 subsystem. The functions of both subsystems and their structural- dynamic properties are discussed.
