Abstract

FOREWORD SWS INTERNATIONAL SCIENTIFIC CONFERENCE ON SOCIAL SCIENCES -ISCSS 2021 is focused on the SOCIAL DIMENSIONS OF THE 2030 AGENDA,MULTICULTURALISM, and the CONTEMPORARY SOCIAL ISSUES in frontof one UNCOMPROMISED, ECOLOGICAL and SUSTAINABLE FUTURE. The effective use of research in the wide range of modern social sciences and the enhanced link between research in various fields, the so-called “interdisciplinarity” can significantly improve the public policy, guided by universal values and principles, such as human rights, improving public services and enhancing public debate. The 2030 Agenda and its 17 main objectives call for greater coherence at national, regional and international levels, which can only be achieved through strong linksand interdisciplinary research in the social sciences, which is directly reflected in public policymaking. The multicultural dialogue here is essential for understanding contemporary social transformations and for ensuring peaceful societies for a sustainable future. The concept of social transformation and sustainability is a challenge for the socialsciences. At the International Scientific Conference on Social Sciences (ISCSS),researchers from two or more disciplines can analyse, synthesize, and harmonize links between the disciplines into a coordinated and coherent whole. They can integrate knowledge and methods from different disciplines, using a real synthesis of approaches. In this way, they can solve more effectively the problems of society, which gives them a much fuller picture of the world and helps them work for a New World, with an UNCOMPROMISING, ENVIRONMENTAL AND SUSTAINABLE FUTURE.
