Abstract

The paper presents technique of fuzzy rated assessment of company's competitiveness. Rating evaluation of companies is a reasonable and practical approach for competitiveness assessment. To calculate the rating can be used not only quantitative indicators of competitiveness but also qualitative indicators. The information about uncertainty of the environment is included in the technique by using methods of the fuzzy sets theory. Quantitative and qualitative factors of competitiveness are selected depending on the characteristics of the industry and the availability of public information. To achieve comparability, indicators are converted in scale [0, 1] with regard to their conventional critical values. The model proposes to account the importance of the indicators depending on external conditions. Integral rating estimation is formed as a weighted sum of fuzzy estimates of competitiveness indicators in the form of fuzzy trapezoidal numbers. To find the final rating of the company's competitiveness is proposed to use the Kemeny's median of different rankings obtained by different methods of ranking fuzzy integral indicators of competitiveness. The presented technique provides effective tools for assessing the competitiveness of companies. The advantage of this technique lies in the fact that it uses quantitative and qualitative factors of competitiveness. Technique is a computer- oriented, since it provides sophisticated algorithms of processing expert information.
