UKRAINE IN THE SPECTRUM OF AN INTERNATIONAL TOURISM
Abstract
The range of objects and phenomena of Ukrainian tourism in the context of international tourism has been highlighted, which is one of the important business components in informing society and opens opportunities to solve management problems – to implement its functions: social (health, humanitarian, spiritual), and business-professional (concluding agreements, solving strategic partnership tasks, etc.). For this purpose, international tourism legislation is developed and implemented, the exchange of information is provided, and common specialists training in tourism are organized, including environmental tourism. Based on recreational and tourist potential the close connecti n prospects of domestic and international tourism have been outlined, their features have been considered, inseparable communications, multilateral agreements on cooperation in the tourism field between the countries have been noted. The geography of recreational and tourist potential in the world tourist space, which is divided into five large tourist macro-regions have been analyzed. According to an "International Tourist Arrivals" index, Ukraine has variable dynamics – in 2010, 21,203 tourists have arrived here, and in 2017 have been visited by 14,229 tourists. Such fluctuations are explained by economic instability, and most of all the political situation in it (the Russo-Ukrainian war in the Donbas and annexation of Crimea). During an international arrivals analysis in Ukraine, we observe an expansion in geography countries: in 2010 Ukraine have visited tourists from 117 countries, and in 2017 – from 127 ones. First of all, it is such neighbouring countries, as Moldova, Belarus, Poland, Slovakia and the United States, Turkey, Israel, Germany, France. Europe holds the lead in the number of international tourist arrivals. Various resources in Ukraine have been briefly analyzed, such as climatic, balneological, water, forest, springs and wells of mineral waters, national natural parks, medical peloids (mud), beach resources, the richness of karst caves, historical (fortifications), architectural monuments, religious buildings (monuments associated with the Black Sea coast colonization, Crimea, as well as the Middle Ages and the Ukrainian Baroque, etc.)
