APPLICATION OF NON-STANDARD CORRELATION ANALYSIS TO ASSESS THE DEVELOPMENT OF HIGHER EDUCATION AND SCIENCE IN RUSSIA
Abstract
The current system of higher education is undergoing significant changes. The ongoing changes are not only a requirement of the time, but also an opportunity to reach a qualitatively new level of development. Ensuring the continuity and stability of the education system, preventing distortions and imbalances of the current system, requires today administrative methods of influence on homogeneous groups of universities. With the help of the modified correlation coefficient in the article, an attempt is made to make the distribution of universities into homogeneous groups based on the Ranking of universities presented by the rating RAEX Rating Agency (Expert RA). The analysis showed that different complexes of management decisions should be applied to each cluster. At the same time, the greatest attention should be paid to University science as the most popular activity of the modern University. The solution of such issues is the active state participation in key areas of University science.
