VARIANT METHOD - A TOOL FOR ESTABLISHING THE RELATIONSHIPS BETWEEN WHEAT AND NITROGEN BASED CHEMICAL
Abstract
This paper aims to investigate how the optimal relationships between crops and chemicals can be determined. In order to answer this question, a piece of research was carried out on the statistical methods. The focus is on the variant method as little research has been conducted on different combination between factor and crop. As a support to establish the optimal link between crops and chemicals indicators of marginalism such as marginal production, marginal cost and expenditure, elasticity, marginal income, marginal profit and rate of profit were studied. The indicators explain the farmer's choice starting from hypothesis in order to achieve maximum of profit and environment protection and crops. The greatest combination of crops and chemicals is given by the marginal utility. Analysis of correlation of wheat and nitrogen-based chemicals served as basis for research. Study within the allocation process shown that wheat production not increase proportional whith quantity of nitrogen. The contradiction consists in the influence of latest unit factor on production level. According to these a suplimentary quantity of production factor determine reducing production crop. Also, an aditional crop production is not posible. The analysis and interpretation were studied from this point of view. Furthermore, the phenomenon become negative for environment in term of pollution. It is necessary to outline that this research adress to big farms where are applied scientific management. Studies are esspecialy because of expenditures per suplimentary doses by chemicals which increase and are injustified. Much previous research on production factors has been based upon large-scale surveys, highlighting specific conceptual frameworks. However, such studies are limited in their ability to shed light on the value of cases studies. Starting from the above mentioned situation, the purpose of this research is to review recent study into the optimal chemicals allocation in order to bring out the value of case studies in factor allocation decision making and to put forward a feasible proposal for the use by farmers. The objectives of this research are to describe the variant method, identify the mathematical connection between wheat crop and nitrogen, find optimal sollution.
