Abstract

Mergers and acquisitions are one of the indicators of economic development of the country. In the global economy growing trend of global integration, manifested in the entry of companies into new markets while increased competition both national and international. Russia's participation in globalization has made her an active participant in the mergers and acquisitions in the global economy. The aim of the study is a comparative analysis of current trends and global trends of the Russian market of mergers and acquisitions and foreign participants in the world economic community. To achieve this goal we have used a retrospective approach as well as leading Russian and foreign analytical studies and periodicals, statistical data of the specialized information agencies. The result of this research is to develop guidelines for the revitalization of the Russian market of mergers and acquisitions on the basis of the results of the comparative analysis under the impact of the global economic crisis on the processes of globalization. The practical significance of the research lies in the justification of the main measures to improve the functioning of the Russian market of mergers and acquisitions.
