ANALYSIS OF EDUCATION STRUCTURE AND MACROECONOMIC INDICATOR ACCORDING TO NUTS III
Abstract
The main objective of the paper is an analysis of the educational structure of the population on the basis of selected macroeconomic indicator. The OECD argues that the better education results in increasing productivity, improving the job prospects and more even distribution of results in reducing income inequality and poverty [7]. The selected macro-economic indicator is the rate of unemployment for the individual counties. A precondition for the existence of statistical dependence between structure and registered unemployment rate within the population relies regions of Slovakia of the Republic. The research component of the contribution is defined on the basis of established procedures for the primary objective and comprehensive analysis of the educational structure of the population on the basis of the above resolves the macro-economic indicator. The analysis of the results obtained by correlation analysis and regression analyses point to possible dependence between the variables being studied which of the methods brings a characteristic and coherent picture of the problem solved.
