OPTIMIZING THE SELECTION OF THE TYPE OF SOFTWARE TO SUPPORT DISTANCE LEARNING IN A COMPREHENSIVE SCHOOL
Abstract
The article discusses the problem of choosing the system and general applied software for the support of distance learning by the teacher and the principles of the choice between proprietary and free software for its subsequent use in the educational process. Remote forms of instruction are formulated and appropriate recommendations are given. Distance learning more and more covers today not only extended education, but also main education itself, in particular, systematically they are applied in a case of the possible aggravation of the epidemiological situation in school, when certain pupils cannot attend school during the long term for various reasons, and also when there are children with health limitations. In such situation the teachers who are carrying out the subject training in the in distance learning have to be defined of choice of program environments in which they carry out the publication of tasks and, respectively, expect to receive results of the homework done by pupils as which can include text files, files of spreadsheets, the presentations, sound and video files, graphic raster and vector files, the compiled files of the programs written in various programming languages. From the authorial point of view, for efficient support of distance learning in the conditions of mass educational school it is important to provide equivalence of the educational process of the software used "on both sides". Most often the authors offer the particular software as basic for techniques, but by no means do not prove the choice of this software, do not bring any arguments into its advantage, also do not note shortcomings of the software which is offered to use. Approaches proposed by the author in the article, allows to reach equivalence of software used in the educational process of educational institution and on home computers of students in distance learning and also to optimize a software choice, proceeding from the principles offered in the real operation.
