RUSSIAN INFLUENCE AND CONSPIRATORIAL CULTURE IN MOLDOVA (SECOND HALF OF THE EIGHTEENTH CENTURY)
Abstract
The issue of Russian influence in the Romanian Principalities, one of the most delicate and nebulous, with great emotional impact until today, was often the subject of many spiteful reactions, but unfortunately, only the few truly specialized studies documented and analytical. Political, legal and institutional Russian influence, defined today in the formula „political culture”, it was seen from the angle of positive-negative, without understanding the nature and its role to generate a constant concern and studies in correlation with the importance of the subject. The identification of ideological and political support of the plans and actions deemed subversive must take into account the characteristics and mentality of the political imaginary of the boyars, mental and spiritual landmarks attached to religion, an imaginary of salvation and rebirth with biblical and messianic inspiration.
