METHODS OF GAME CONSTRUCTION IN SYSTEM 4-2-3-1
Abstract
The junior football game requires a specific approach at the level of each academy, depending on the characteristics of the conception of the established game. So in our case, we will refer to how to approach the construction of the game - the attack phase - depending on the reality existing at the time of the competition, the preparation of the junior players of the Craiova University Sports Club, so that they will be able to react positively to their teammatesВ’ behavior of as well as their opponentsВ’. The paper describes some ways to achieve the progression in the positional attack of the game starting from the goalkeeperВ’s own possession, until the finalization is completed, this being the first option of the team. The second option is the counterattack as a form of attack in which the own team attacks the opposing team, immediately after winning the possession when the opposing team is not yet in the defensive, the last variant referring to a direct attack that allows us to create an advantage by defending the opposing team. The aim of the paper is to create the directions, the options of adapting the junior football team to the existing reality in the football ground, to establish the best methods and means of training, clearly adapted to the characteristics of the players. The objectives of the research were: В• Developing relationships among the players during the game; В• Correcting poor technical skills that help speed up the game; В• Creating specific attack paths to help the team break through the opponentsВ’ defensive block. During the research, the main method was the practice of specific means adapted to the players in the 4-2-3-1 game system, the direct observation and the video analysis of the players, both in the training and in the official games. The statistical method was used to centralize the data. The results of the research were conclusive, in the respect that the team reacted positively to the methods and means used, which was strengthened by the first place in the league of the Elite League U17, East Series organized by the Romanian Football Federation at national level, the team being qualified in the national semi-finals at the time of this abstract. In conclusion, the use of specific build-up exercises tailored to the players contributed to their sporting progress, with two of the 16 and 17-year-old players being promoted to play for our club's senior team, thus debuting in the 1st League.
