Abstract

Responsible implementation of environmental policies in sustainable development must have as objectives activities gentle with the environment, sustainable planning of the livestock breeding and exploitation sector. It is found that around animal farms there are unused landfills that are sources of pollution for soil, air and water. Analyzing the water sources we found their pollution with organic substances, nitrates and ammonium, and the pH was very close to the upper limit admitted. The quantities of pollutants that are discharged at high concentrations get polluting the groundwater, as well modifies the water quality of the emissaries near animal farms, with unfavorable effects on flora and fauna.
