Abstract

The aim of this paper is to outline the issue of grasping sustainable development in practice. The institutional system applies this term with pertinent sonority, which entices the general public. Where did the term sustainable development actually come from and what does its application involve with respect to land planning or planning the development of the agglomeration itself, and how can the individual institutions and the public get involved? To answer these questions, one must know the basic principles of sustainable development. Education itself and the convergent elaborated state of application of sustainable development must comply with the local conditions of the agglomeration and they must be sufficiently applicable. Approaching the principle or methodical recommendation and assessing sustainable development for the given territory can create its own paradigm of the issue, as indicated below. The principle of sustainable development involves a broader spectrum of topics. In relation to the development of a city one can speak of buildings and the utilization of natural resources, including the arrangement of developments and the functional utilization of the territory, including cohesion and co-decision, an integral part of the non-decision of the citizens of the given territory.
