Abstract

Intensive growth of agricultural production caused on the one hand implementation, adopted in 2010 a Food Security Doctrine of Russia, on the other hand, a ban on the import of food products from several Western countries, as a response to imposed against Russia sanctions, has highlighted the need for research and forecasting of development of agroindustrial complex. In the world in general and in Russia in particular, has accumulated substantial experience in building predictive models of agricultural development. The most effective approach from the point of view of linking existing development trends and determine the optimum proportions of the complex includes the combination of statistical and optimization models. What economic and mathematical models allow to reproduce the overall resource situation for the future, and trends in the structural parameters, as well as the opportunity of selecting the best in a certain economic sense variant of development under different levels of use of the economic potential of agroindustrial complex. The idea of linking statistical and optimization models is not new, but its relevance increases again due to the fact that the economy enters into a stage of rational use of resources and as a consequence, the influence of various factors at this stage increases. Thus, the use of this approach for modeling of development of the agroindustrial complex in modern conditions effective and relevant.
