APPLYING A PROJECT APPROACH TO THE PROCESS OF CREATING INNOVATION
Abstract
The article describes the process of designing and implementing innovative solutions using methods that support creative problem-solving and project management methods. The convergence of innovation management and project management topics are outlined. Consequently, it enabled the creation and presentation of a hybrid innovation management design model that combines methods and tools in the areas of investment, innovation management and project management. In order to establish the innovation management design, multiple case studies were conducted, using a number of methods of information gathering: specialized creativity tests, in-depth interviews, and participant observations. The study was supplemented by literature analysis and the good practice. The utilitarian purpose of the conducted research was to develop a tool supporting the selection inventic methods and project methods for the innovation process in the selected enterprise. The method selection tool was positively verified.
