IMPORTANCE OF THE CONCEPT OF EDUCATION IN FIRST AID IN HELPING PROFESSIONS
Abstract
The importance of education and training in the area of first aid in helping professions reveals its significance in our research sample, conducted with the students of secondary and higher education, who study medical, social and pedagogical training bound with their future profession. The aim of our research was the area of competences in the context of providing the first aid by the persons preparing for contact work with people and where the professional dispositional factors for its application exist. At the same time we tried to outline the background and objective opportunities to improve current situation in the pedagogical training concept. We used the method of a semi-structured interview combined with a questionnaire, where the data were statistically evaluated, moreover we compared the issues of theory and practice .
