NON-EQUIVALENT DISTRIBUTION OF THE LANGUAGES: A PSYCHOLINGUISTIC STUDY OF BILINGUAL CODE-SWITCHES
Abstract
The paper describes a psycholinguistic experimental research of word-to-word code-switches performed by native Komi-Permyak – Russian bilinguals learning a foreign (English) language in classroom settings. Peculiar features of switches between the three languages and their non-equivalent distribution in bilingual consciousness are discussed.
