Abstract

This article deals with the use of information and communication technologies as a means of educational and professional self-realization of students in the process of university education. The essence of information and communication technologies as a necessary condition for successful student self-actualization is grounded. The main components of the educational and professional self-realization of students of a higher educational institution are revealed. The concept of educational and professional self-actualization is specified. The authors consider the internal and external aspects of the disclosure of educational and professional self-realization, allocates groups of motivational-purpose, organizational-content and instrumental-technological conditions that facilitate its disclosure. Based on the study of various scientific approaches in the field of educational informatization, the potential possibilities of information and communication technologies for the educational and professional self-realization of students in the process of university training are considered. The most used by students information and communication technologies, namely computer, multimedia, telecommunication, Web 2.0 are briefly characterized technologies.
