MEASURING SUSTAINABILITY IN COMPANIES: THE CASE FROM THE CZECH REPUBLIC
Abstract
The paper focuses on the current topic of measuring sustainability in companies. First, several different definitions of sustainability and possible indicators how to measure it are discussed. Moreover, it uses a case study of measuring indicators and introduces a sustainable policy of a small company in the Czech Republic. A separate chapter focuses on the code of sustainability, which is also known as a tool for claiming sustainable behavior. The paper may be used as a guide for companies to follow in introducing and implementing sustainability measures.
