MOSCOW LABOR MARKET: ASSESSMENT OF TRENDS AND DEVELOPMENT PROSPECTS

Abstract

The labor market is the most important element of the economic system, since it represents the aggregate of supply and demand for labor, the balance of which determines the economic growth of the country as a whole and of the particular region, in particular. On the other hand, it is largely correlated with the capital market, the means of production, consumer goods, etc. Thus, it can be said that the labor market is the most important factor in the development of the economy, the effective functioning of which ensures not only an increase in the level of production and its economic efficiency, but also the qualitative development of the entire economic and social system. Moscow is the economic, financial and business center of the country, which largely influences the formation of the Moscow labor market. At the present stage, the main labor market trends in Moscow and the Moscow region are formed under the influence of a number of factors. On the one hand, the concentration of the main part of financial, administrative and other structures in the capital leads to the maximization of the labor market capacity. On the other hand, many companies in the current economic conditions reduce costs by optimizing the costs of labor remuneration for employees and as a result of optimizing the number of staff by reducing staff and existing vacancies. In the article features of carrying out of statistical estimation of influence of economic and other factors development of a labor market of the Moscow region are considered. The methodological basis of the study was the correlation and regression analysis, analysis of development trends. Methodological approaches to constructing models of the dynamics of labor market indicators in Moscow and the Moscow region have been determined.
