CASE STUDY OF THE CONCEPT OF вЂPERSONAL AUTONOMY’ IN RUSSIAN MEDICINE AND LAW
Abstract
Ethical and legal aspects of the enforcement of the basic principle of bioethics which is the principle of respect for individual autonomy in the Russian legislation and clinical practice are considered. The authors reveal the essence of the concept of вЂpersonal autonomy’, analyze Russian laws from the standpoint of congruence with bioethical and world legal standards, and present the results of their research.
