Abstract

The paper deals with the issue of the contribution of the education system in Slovakia in terms of its functioning and financing. Slovak Republic has undergone since 1989 a complex process of transformation that has touched almost every component of society. Important role in this regard has played a topic of education, which took place several changes. First, the central management has been translated into the creation of authorities in the system, but which is struggling with several problems. The aim of our paper is to analyse the whole process of change that is signed under its present arrangement and try to find the answers to today's problems that affect education.
