EUROPEANIZATION OF PUBLIC ADMINISTRATION OF THE REPUBLIC OF MACEDONIA
Abstract
The European Union is a very dynamic organization, which from the time of its formation until now, has undergone legal and institutional reforms. From the 1990's, the interest of the EU has been very dynamic in supporting the Republic of Macedonia and the Western Balkan countries in the process of political and economic transformation; during this period, the EU began develop a regional approach to the Western Balkans. Macedonia's key relations with the European Union date back to the year 1996 and continues to this day, arising from a number of conditions that must be met by the candidate. One EU criteria presented includes reforms in Public Administration. A Europeanized (reformed) Public Administration would take place in a given State considering the functioning of the rule of law, stability of institutions guaranteeing democracy, the protection of freedoms and human rights, whereas all these elements depend on the effective functioning of government the implementation of regulations. Candidate countries need to develop their public administration sector to achieve an adequate level of reliability in the European Administrative Area. We therefore chose the topic of the thesis which is quite concrete since society has its eyes directed towards the European Union which will bring country development in all areas. The contents of this paper will have theoretical and practical values which will review the functioning of public administration in the Republic of Macedonia-conformity with European rules. This paper belongs to the field of public administration, so research methodology consists of using general and specific methods, so that along with the comparative method public administration will be research more successfully.
