Abstract

Digital humanities is an activity based on a symbiosis of the humanities sciences and information technologies. This is an international activity. There are many communities implementing projects in this area. For example: Russian Association for Digital Humanities (http:// dhrussia.ru) and European Association for Digital Humanities (http:// eadh.org/). Under the flags of Digital Humanities ITMO University (Department of Graphic Technologies, Center of design and multimedia), Saint Petersburg State University (department В«Information Systems in Arts and HumanitiesВ») and Saint-Petersburg state Roerich family Museum and Institute create project - Multimedia Information System "Architecture and art complex Theodore town in Tsarskoye Selo as an example of Russian style" (http:// russianstyle.ifmo.ru/). The main components of this portal are: Virtual reconstruction of Architectural and artistic complex of Feodorovsky town in Tsarskoye Selo; Scientific articles about Feodorovsky town and Russian Style; archive of materials and interactive applications for virtual reality headsets.
