Abstract

In the paper with the modern quality management methods using is argued the rationality of rehabilitation equipment production for the patients with the hand and fingers movement disorders basing on the 3D - printing technology. First of all, we start from the descriptions of special needs in rehabilitation for some distributed diseases and shortly characterize the proposed case study (assistive device). Next, we choose the best 3D - printing method for our case study compared with the others, and after that we make the same procedure for the possible material. Then we made estimation with the chosen methods based on the comparative analysis of the branch simulators produced with the 3D-printing technology in the Russian Federation and by the foreign companies. After the analyzing the unique features of the case study simulator, we focused specifically on the prospects for the rehabilitation devices (assistive devices) production development on the national level. We conclude with the offering the few suggestions for such products standardization in the national practice for the quality assurance and efficiency purposes.
