Abstract

This article concerns specifics of designing associational cultural landscapes. It demonstrates that, taking the objectВ’s specifics into account, a special cognitive layer that determines the switch of a visitorВ’s motivation must be introduced in the laying-out process. It demonstrates that the switch of a visitorВ’s motivation can be controlled. Using the self-reflexing subject model suggested by Vladimir Lefebvre, the motivation control efficiency is evaluated for the first time. The article demonstrates that the quality of obtained architectural and planning solutions can be checked using methods of agent-based modelling.
