Abstract

The author considers the theme of enterprises’ mergers in high-tech industries and studies the trends at the M&A market in Russia and in the world. The strengths and drawbacks of integration strategy compared with organization growth strategy have been analyzed in the article. One of the ways for rapid growth enterprises is mergers and acquisitions. This strategy allows enterprises to collect and development the portfolio of “economic-geographical assets” which is a key origin of competitive strength in a global economy. Methodical approach for evaluation of the enterprise potential to choosing for integration has been proposed. Developed allows to conduct the comparative quantification of enterprise-applicants’ potential to integration. Companies ranking in enterprise-applicants’ potential feature allow forming the enterprises-applicants’ integration structure by notices criterion. It could be the first stage of integration process optimization. In this research method for factors significance determination is based contiguous matrix method. Contiguous matrix forms on the basis of survey (managers, specialists at enterprises) for the weight determination of potential defined components.
