THE REQUIREMENTS TO INFORMATION COMPETENCE OF FUTURE RUSSIAN TEACHERS OF THE HUMANITIES
Abstract
The article is devoted to the requirements to information competence of future Russian teachers of the humanities. Today, the Russian Federation is going through the process of reforming of the higher education. The Federal state educational standard of higher education is built on the base of competence approach. There is a problem of definition of information competence which will be necessary for future teachers. This article sets out to give a general overview of such requirements. The future humanities teachers training face problems of adapting the content of ICT disciplines to each training direction. So it is necessary to define the requirements for each educational program. That’s why the article outlines the various uses of information and communication technologies in professional activities of teachers. The article highlights the importance of understanding the role of the requirements to information competence of future Russian teachers of the humanities.
