EDUCATIONAL POLICY OF GERMANY IN THE FIELD OF INTERNATIONALIZATION OF HIGHER EDUCATION
Abstract
One of the central directions of educational policy in Germany is its activity in the global market of educational services with the aim of attracting the best representatives of international students and promising young scientists to the country. In the article the authors analyze the strategy and tactics of Germany's educational policy in this direction, its components, tools and efficiency of its use. At the same time, the foreign students body of the German universities is analysed, and state programmes and public initiatives aimed at their support are examined. Particular attention is paid to the connection between educational policy and the process of social and cultural integration of students who come to the country in the refugee status. The results of this study allow the authors to conclude that the educational strategy of Germany is characterized by a high level of efficiency, which allows it to compete successfully for the leadership in the global market of educational services.
