Abstract

The article investigates the influence of the national-cultural specificity of speech behavior on the formation of expressive forms of address in the Russian language as well as in the Colombian and Costa Rican variants of the Spanish language. Groups of expressive addresses are distinguished depending on their semantic load, ways of transferring evaluativity and expressiveness; pragmatic factors affecting their formation and functioning are described, namely: evaluative-characterizing and emotivecharacterizing ones. The evaluative-characterizing factors include forms of address regarding moral and intellectual qualities, temperamental and physical traits as well as professional, social, political and territorial-ethnic affiliations, including nicknames and anthropomasias. The emotive-characterizing factors are represented by emotive-proper forms as well as forms regarding communicantsВ’ gender, age, acquaintance and kinship, including proper names and expressive forms of address. Particular attention is paid to the group of expressive addresses regarding moral and intellectual qualities, temperamental and physical attributes. The materials of the article are necessary for in-depth study of the Russian and Spanish languages as well as for lecturing students of linguistic specialties.
