Abstract

When you develop businesses in the online environment, there are a number of online marketing tools and strategies that generally you have to use: websites, mobile apps, SEO/SEM campaigns, social media and content marketing, etc. If you have a website, in order to improve your business, you should use a Facebook account, a YouTube channel, etc. Also, if you have a YouTube channel, the current online marketing strategies suggest to build a blog for your channel, a mobile app, advertise them on Facebook, and so on. In conclusion, regardless of where you start your marketing online activity, sooner or later you will be required to develop other strategies, in order to improve your activity. In the last years, REST API techniques, which relate to data transfer between different platforms, have been used increasingly inside the online marketing components circle. In this paper we are focused on the use of these techniques. In order to emphasize their importance, and how these can improve our activity, we consider our YouTube channel -Traveler Moments. We present how different online marketing tools can improve channel advertising, and how we can use REST API techniques.
