Abstract

The article emphasizes the problem of integrating basic and additional education, which is an important condition for the transition to a new standard of education. This means that for the first time the basic and additional education in Russian school could become equal, mutually complementary components and thereby they can create a national educational standard. At the present time, a number of contradictions concerning the integration of basic and additional education have intensified in the context of the implementation of the modern standard: there is no single base for the engrossment of children in additional education; coordination of the child's engrossment during after-hours is not worked out. To integrate into the new relational system, to meet the new requirements of the standard, there must be changes in the additional education itself. We have developed and implemented a structural and functional model for integrating the basic and additional education at the Palace of Children's Creativity in Yakutsk. It consists of interrelated and interdependent modules: regulatory and legal support, material and technical support, organizational and methodological support, an educational module, a social-educational module .The criteria for assessing educational performance at the studentsВ’ level were: the formedness of meta-subject competencies; at the teachersВ’ level : motivation to participate in the integration process, participation in research work, the degree of satisfaction with participation in the integration process; at the institutional level: the number of students continuing their education in additional comprehensive general enrichment programs. The analysis of the possibilities of integrating the basic and additional education at the Palace of Children's Creativity in Yakutsk allowed to give a positive forecast for the introduction of such a system in other educational institutions as the most optimal option. It is established that the joint activity of the basic and additional education, considering their common resources and interests, as well as joint programs and a unified system of contracts, can create a successful educational environment.
