ASPECTS OF TEACHING THE CORRECT WRITING AND USAGE OF THE ROMANIAN PREPOSITIONS BY FOREIGN STUDENTS
Abstract
Teaching the correct writing and usage of Romanian prepositions to foreign students may be a real challenge taking into account that the preposition is one of the most important inflexible parts of speech of the Romanian language, without which one cannot correctly express and last but not least considering the prepositionВ’s high degree of usage in the everyday language. Most of the prepositions express varied reports, bearing multiple functions, their role is often understated, which leads to an increasing number of erroneous formulations by the foreign students in the oral and written daily communication. In the case of a correct usage of the preposition the expression imperfections most often display as two aspects: some prepositions abusively take the place of others or are omitted (without the possibility of being implied), which in many situations leads to the alteration of the sense of communication. Consequently, the study of the correct writing and usage of the Romanian prepositions by foreign students becomes all the more important.
