COUNSELLING IN PREVENTION OF ABORTION AND PSYCHO-SOCIO-EMOTIONAL SECONDARY DISORDERS IN ARAD COUNTY
Abstract
This paper exposes the current statistics on indicators of demographic analysis on the subject, both worldwide and in Romania until 2013 and conducted research in Arad, on the prevention of abortion, unwanted pregnancy in crisis. Due to demographic trends of Arad County in recent years, in terms of birth rates and abortion, and the reasons for termination of pregnancy, was meant to provide this research with the aim of improving the demographic indicators in Arad. This research was conducted in the city of Arad, within a counseling center for pregnant women in crisis unwanted pregnancy. The research hypothesis is that: using the method shown in research intervention, are reduce the number of clients who use abortion as a birth control method. Research methodology includes the counseling sessions to overcome the crisis that is client and support for finding solutions to end the crisis. Length of counseling sessions: client has two fifty minute sessions of pre-abortion counseling. Together with counseling we utilize method of observation and fact-gathering-interview. Intervention impact assessment was carried out on a sample of 186 clients, advice and support counseling center in Arad studied for a period of two years, range: 2012 to 2013. The research results show that the study objectives were achieved and the research hypothesis is validated.
