ON MOBILE APPS USED FOR LEARNING
Abstract
Today, smart phones represent one of the most modern tools used in business, especially in the relationship with customers. In many situations, the learning environment is included in a business environment. Starting from this idea, we consider that mobile application development has to become a habit in educational activities. In this paper we emphasize the importance of mobile apps in distance learning. If we have a business on learning, besides the use of websites, we can improve our relationship with the learners, using mobile facilities. In this work, we recall some software applications which can be used for Android or iPhone, their features and methods which can help us in mobile learning activities and, finally, we present a mobile application example on language learning.
