THE ROLE OF TEACHERS IN DECREASING OF BULLYING IN SCHOOL
Abstract
Bullying is a common phenomenon in primary and secondary schools. In order to battle bullying, it can be important for students to have teachers whom they see as taking an active stand against bullying in terms of propagating antibullying norms and having an efficacious approach to decreasing bullying. The study realized in elementary schools in Kosovo. In these study include the 6 schools, from three city(Gjilan, Ferizaj and Prishtina). In these study participate 100 teachers. The investigation is realized in four schools in Gjilani city: “Thimi Mitko”, “Selami Hallaqi”, “Musa Zajmi”, and “Abaz Ajeti”, from each school participated 15 teachers, total number in Gjilani 60 teachers. While in Ferizaj city investigation is realized in two schools: “Gjon Serreqi”, and “Tefik Canga”, from each school participated 10 teachers, total number of teachers in Ferizaj 20 teachers. In Prishtina city investigation is realized in two schools: “Hasan Prishtina” and “7 marsi”, from each school participated 10 teachers, total number of teachers in Prishtina 20 teachers. According to the obtained results from teachers we can conclude that violence are present in investigated schools.
