TENDENCY OF WORLD PRODUCTION IN IRON-ORE PRODUCT
Abstract
The relevance of the study is confirmed by the fact that the development of the domestic metallurgical industry depends on the development trends of the world metallurgy. Iron ore is the main raw material for the production of ferrous metals. Geopolitical processespropose new demands to forms and methods of strategic management in metallurgical industry. The aim of this study is analysis and dynamic development assessment of ferrous metals in different countries of over the world. To achieve this goal the followingproblems were solved: comparative analysis of iron ore reserves in the world: Australia, Brasil, China, India and Russia; the study of iron ore mining experience in Russia and the world; the analysis of the production of commodity iron ore in Russia and in states of the Union of Independent States. Methodological basis is the study methods of system analysis, comparisons and analogies, logical-semantic modeling. These methods are used as a theoretical basis in the works of domestic and foreign scientists in the planning, production and extraction of iron ore. Sources of information are the economic and other special literature, articles from periodicals, the results of the research, the experience of leading foreign companies. The result of this study is the conclusions drawn on the basis of an assessment of the dynamics of the development of the iron and steel industry in different countries of the world.
