RESEARCH PROGRESS AND PROSPECT ON ORGANIZATIONAL LEARNING

Abstract

This paper identified three academic perspectives for organizational learning studies, which are cognitive perspective, process perspective and capacity perspective. The basic hypotheses, the achievements and problems, as well as the latest trends of organizational learning study under different perspectives were discussed respectively. Based on the analysis of Chinese and English literatures on organizational learning from 2006 to 2015, this paper found that there is not such a general theory of organizational learning has been constructed until today, and the reasons for that is also be analyzed in this paper. Finally, this paper proposed some research agendas for the future study.
