DEVELOPMENT OF A METHODS FOR DETERMINING THE REGION'S SECTORAL INVESTMENT PRIORITIES IN ORDER TO SELECT SECTORS FOR INCLUSION IN THE INVESTMENT PORTFOLIO

Abstract

The article presents the methodology developed by the author for determining the region's investment priorities for the purpose of selecting industries for inclusion in the investment portfolio. For the regions of Russia, classified in the author's typology to the problem type, as an optimal goal-oriented investment policy aimed at forming the target investment attractiveness of the region, taking into account its specific specific properties and assuming the organization of targeted work with investors. The regional economy can be represented as a diversified investment portfolio that unites branches and types of activities that are not the same in their investment characteristics. The formation of a matrix of investment-attractive industries and a balanced matrix of industries is proposed, a method of applying matrices for forecasting and selecting branches for inclusion in an investment portfolio is defined. To optimize the region's investment portfolio, the methods of mathematical statistics, the dynamic norm method, were used. The toolkit provides the basis for developing differentiated mechanisms for interaction with investors, identifying investment problems, determining the need, feasibility and form of support for industries in the region The study was carried out within the framework of the RFBR-supported scientific project N 17-12-33002-OGN
