FACTORS OF INFLUENCE HEALTH CARE ON THE QUALITY OF LIFE OF THE CITIZENS OF THE SLOVAKIA
Abstract
Health is a defining attribute of quality of life and well-being and is a viable and instrumental value conditional on the existence and enforcement of the human characteristics. Health problems are usually addressed as part of issues related to health care. Health care, exactly its functionality operation is in fact considered to be the most important factor affecting the quality of life of citizens in the state. Quality health care depends on whether and how effectively the system works, what ideas justified its creation and whether it resonates even today, as adjusted qualitative and quantitative characteristics in terms sustainability and how managed by the system. Of course, it depends on whether it is enough resources, the human capital, and the scope to the implementation of new methods, approaches and technologies. Assessing the problem from philosophical and economic point of view allows an insight into the quality of life in the context of the health care from two viewing angles looking of. Ideas about what is quality and a good life are often modified and reflected in the full lives term. When we talk about quality of life in the context of healthcare are emerging philosophical and economic issues, which are intensively seeking answers. Those offered, given the scope of the article will be only the framework. The aim of the article is to analyze the perceptions of quality of life in the existing health care system in the Slovak Republic, outlined the principles of stable and high-quality health care system and highlight the need to address issues related to the quality of life in the context of functioning health care system.
