Abstract

An article reveals the problems of tourist and recreational resources usage within western Polesie in Poland and Ukraine. Statistical information on available tourism and recreational resources has been collected. The tourist and recreational potential of administrative and territorial units belonging to the physical and geographical zone of western Polesie has been determined. It was also studied the experiences related to the usage of the tourist resources of Western Polesie in the Republic of Poland. The recommendations for a more efficient use of tourism and recreational resources have been offering. Thus tourist and recreational resources of western Polesie are the main objects of our research. The aim of the study is the comprehensive research of the tourist and recreational resources of the Western Polissya, to identify the territorial location and to develop recommendations for their rational usage.
