Abstract

Railway transport facilities are a group of interconnected and interactive parts that perform an important work or task. These include, for example, track and station security equipment, interlocking security equipment, dispatching workplaces, communication equipment elements and others. Many are dependent on electricity supply, although some of their functions may be temporarily supplied from alternative sources. The electricity distribution network, which has a number of different elements, is relatively vulnerable, and the risk of being at risk in rail transport is influenced by several factors, primarily human factor, technical condition, weather conditions and others. Its downturn has a great impact on the population, infrastructure, property and the environment, so it plays an important role in the life of society and its vulnerability needs to be paid more attention. Above all, by defining risk factors, ensuring protection from external influences, regular maintenance and design of alternative energy sources for crisis situations.
