Abstract

Economic security of a stable enterprise that gains profit meeting its owners’ demands, is based on presence and efficient usage of all required components for marketable goods production in the respective legislative environment. There are two aspects of economic security of an enterprise: operative and strategic. A strategy targets economically safe development of an enterprise, while business activities are to guarantee effective functioning of an enterprise in terms of economic security, which means generating a comfortable profit (from the owners’ point of view) without architecture change. The article's objective is to define a role, place, and content of a business model in adopting a development strategy and day-to-day operation of an enterprise. The article dwells upon an issue of straightforward description of an enterprise state in order to achieve economically safe operations management and strategic development based on representation of a business model and enterprise architecture as complex business processes meeting operations of added value chain of a product.
