Abstract
The urgent medicine is very young and dynamic discipline of health sciences. Work at department, called Emergency or Departments of urgent medicine has to be very quick and arduous. The main aim of management of this department is continuous increase of quality of health care. Very important parts of medicsВ’ teams there are nurses. The nursesВ’ work is essential component of full system of care. We would like to know; what is the impact of this work on the nurses employed at department. The identification of problems in nursesВ’ teams can to show as how to improve the organisation and system of nursesВ’ work. We have determined some hypotheses about psychical stress, possibility of negative behaviour on department and impact of work on social atmosphere in working group. For research we have used the guestionnary complex, which was created by four parts. First part was sociological guestionnary, as secondary part was used standardized psychological guestionnary (SUPOS 7) by MikВљГk, as third part was used negative activity guestionnary (NAQ) by Hoel and last part was using scale of collective psychological atmosphere by Kollarik. We choose nurses from Urgent medicine department at University hospital Hradec Kralove and return of questionnaires was 100%. According to SUPOS 7 is psychological state of nursing on very good level. The two main positive parts of the human psyche are 53% of all. According NAQ guestionnary nurses do not meet with negative behavioural at work. Absolutely negative is bullying too. On the scale of collective atmosphere we can see the value of answers on positive spectre of scale, so we can say that the social atmosphere is perceived positively. Our hypotheses have not been confirmed. According to results of our research we cannot allege, that quality and effectivity of nursing work at this department are affected by psychological condition and social atmosphere of nurses. The impact of work is not so negative and is not main negative factor of stress at this department.
