APPLIED ETHICS AND CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSIBILITY IN ENTREPRENEURSHIP
Abstract
In the modern world, it is very important to pay special and significant importance to the process of corporate and social responsibility (CSR). Socially responsible activity brings a new look at the social direction of the business and it brings benefits to organizations, both directly and indirectly, which provides a long-term competitive advantage. The business entities have competed by several tools, mainly from the point of view of product’s quality, services, customers, etc. But the time is running and the companies as well as other organizations have to adapt for new trends in society. One of the possibilities how to achieve the entrepreneurial success is to receive the competitive advantage like is the corporate social behavior. Corporate social responsibility (CSR) has become one of the standard business practices of our time. For companies committed to CSR it means kudos and an enhanced overall reputation – a powerful statement of what they stand for in an often cynical business world. The establishment of a CSR strategy (sometimes referred to as a sustainability strategy) is a crucial component of a company’s competiveness and something that should be led by the firm itself. This means having policies and procedures in place which integrate social, environmental, ethical, human rights or consumer concerns into business operations and core strategy – all in close collaboration with stakeholders. The perception of Corporate Social Responsibility is relatively new area in relation to the companies and organization in the Middle and Eastern Europe. It is necessary to keep the principles of business ethics. The main goal of submitted article is to show on the importance and place of applied ethics and business code within the social responsible behavior.
